trying to get bellsouth dsl on line to show up on my computer

i have bellsouth dsl, but when i try to enter or hit the bellsouth sign all i get is mozilla firefox with the bellsouth sign and not the bellsouth sight????? i feel like i am loosing it and can't get what i am paying 34.95 a month for. HELP!!!t

many thanks ahead of tiime, i am not that smart with the computer but someone talked me into linux, am i going to be sorry?

I think it just means no one's had experience with Bellsouth DSL. Can you access any webpages when firefox opens?

Do you know your username and password?
Somethink like...

Username: <email address hidden>
Password: password

If you know these two things, go:
Applications --> Accesories --> Terminal
Then, in the terminal, type "pppoeconf" and follow the instructions.
