Totem not opening wmv format files as attachments

If the file is saved, it can be opened with xine . I have tried to link the xine essential files needed to open wmv format to Totem but have not been successful. It is my understanding that xine is the basis of Totem.

Running Firefox 2.0.0.3 in Ubuntu 6.10

updated to Ubuntu 7.04. Problem solved.
