must click adblock everytime My Yahoo is accessed

A pointroll ad continues to pop up on My Yahoo despite being listed in adblock. Cannot even move backward with button without it popping up again. It goes away when I click adblock, but why does it continue to re-appear when it is on the adblock list to filter? How do 'hide ads' and 'remove ads' compare? The ad blocks quite a bit of content; it's a video, I think.

Are you using Adblock, or Adblock Plus?

It is Adblock (Firefox 1.0.7). I am trying to avoid downloading an entire program until my son is visiting (and I have dial-up). I suppose I could do a plug in.

Hmm. I have Adblock Plus on my system, and when I tried Adblock Plus it did not have the problems you describe. It might be worth trying.
