Firefox problem..

Hello All..

When I try to copy a link or a photo by dragging it in firefox it gets stuck and only mouse pointer moves..

I m using FF 2 on ubuntu 7.10

Any Info appreciated

See if this helps highlight the link you want with your mouse then right click your mouse one of the choices should be copy. Then move it to where you want it the right click again and choose paste there it is.
       I don't know if this is what you want so I hope it helps.

On 7.10 i use a very upgraded build of Firefox
Using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008040212 Minefield/3.0pre

and when i drag and drop a desktop png image to Firefox canvas i have no problem to view it or freeze of system.

Please install firefox-3.0

apt-get install firefox-3.0

and try...
