Activesync

I've just started with this system & am liking what I see. I need to connect to my audiovox 6700 phone via USB, I use Microsoft Activesync & am looking for a similar software - any ideas ?

You can use Opensync framework. KitchenSync is a frontend GUI for KDE and Gnome-Sync is for Gnome.

Thanks, but for a newbie, & in simple language, how do I install & use it & do I need some form of driver installed for the phone?
