Is this over a network? It could be because the video is downloading slowly from the source. Can you explain

- What software are you using to watch the video?
- What is the video, where is it being played from (internet, USB key, local disk).

If it is over the network, try downloading the video to your local disk, then playing it back from there. If you are looking at embedded videos (eg youtube), then you could look at the "unplug" addin for firefox. This allows you to download youtube videos to your disk, then play them back at your own leisure.

Over the network, i.e. MSNBC videos, utube, whereever. Videos do not play continuously.

Using Firefox with Adobe Flash Player and one other that was an update from Ubuntu for playing videos (cannot remember the name of it).

I downloaded and installed the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2254/ so will try downloading to the hard drive and playing from there. '

Thanks for the help.

I just finished testing the new firefox/addon/2254 and now the videos are playing continuously without stopping or hesitating.

Probem has been solved without copying the video to the hard drive and playing it.

Thank you very much for the help. I appreciate it.
