Mozilla firefox upgrade.

hi folks,
i am using ubuntu 10.04 version and in that, i had tried to upgrade my mozilla browser 3.6 to 4 .
i tried it from synaptic pakage manager.
but it doesnt happen.
as i thought i wont work. now problem is that my browser icon has change - now appearing blue globe.
and with name NAMOROKA
.. is that my browser is getting hacked or something else happened to it.

and also tell me that hows the Mozilla's "seamonkey" application. weather it will be option/ alternative for firefox.

Namoroka is the code name for Firefox 3.6. I suspect you have somehow lost the Ubuntu Firefox tweaks and are looking at a vanilla Firefox 3.6 there.

See if you have Ubufox installed - that adds the Ubuntu tweaks. I would also check if you have firefox-branding and firefox-gnome-support installed.

You have updated Firefox to a devel Firefox build or release, it have a blue globe icon so is fine...: you are using a devel build of Firefox with internal developer codename showed...
