7.04 will not boot from CD

I have downloaded 7.04, and the files look OK, after writing files to CD the CD will not boot with message 'non bootable CD'. I have set my BIOS making the CD as the 1st boot option and it works fine with my UBUNTU 6.06 disc. Any suggestions?

I can ask you what you see in the cd if you open this in you S.O. (not do the boot).

I'm very new to Linux, only loaded 6.06 last week so I don't know what S.O. is. If I open the CD folder it shows a whole host of files including 'START.EXE'.

Sorry, but I have understood you have copy the file .iso on the cd, but you have coorectly done the burn of iso immage, sorry.
Ok, but your error happens when the cds have not the boot sector. You can make another copy of the 7.04 cd using a somller burning speed.
