I'm new to Ubuntu. I downloaded Second Life. Now how do I open it and put it on desktop?

wget -O playdeb.deb http://archive.getdeb.net/install_deb/playdeb_0.3-1~getdeb1_all.deb

sudo dpkg -i ./playdeb.deb

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install snowglobe

If the last command fails then use this website:
www.playdeb.net/updates/ubuntu/10.04/?q=life
