i got a new laptop and i cant find the drives?

after getting my new laptop, i couldnt find any of the drives on my computer like Drive D: or C:, how could i find it?

You have a new laptop, only with Ubuntu?

ubuntu is not Windows, so there is nothing like C or D.
C and D is the way Windows is calling a drive. It's not a standard
You don't have to worry about the way the system is calling the drives. Just open the "places" menu, it will show you the different locations where you can put your data.
