Program not booting/running f-spot in Ubuntu 8.04

Clicking on the F-spot icon the system works for a few seconds but no window opens up, no error messages pop up, program doesn't open. Trying to run it from the command line I get the following:

Can someone please give me a step-by-step rundown of how to make the problem run. Please, I don't know much about linux code, be kind. Thank you Tomasz H. NC
