Need to set my default calendar to my exchange calendar instead of my local calendar

When I create an appointment in evolution it defaults to my local calendar if I happen not to notice I and am just checking my exchange calendar I do not see the event or appointment.

Change to the calendar view, right click on your exchange calendar, select "properties" and mark "Mark as default folder". Now the appointment defaults to your exchange calendar.
