Trusty Tahr repository - Evolution upgrade?

Will the Trusty Tahr repository ever get an Evolution update to 3.12.4-0ubuntu1 (or higher), or will it be stuck on 3.10.4-0ubuntu1?

Evolution is strongly linked to the GTK version in the OS. Also as you are using an LTS release the likelihood of packages being updated is lessened if there is no significant reason to update. LTS releases concentrate on stability rather than trying to keep the latest versions of things and is why they are a great choice for normal users.

If you report a bug stating the bug and security fixes the newer version gives then it may be updated. There is also a Gnome PPA here on Launchpad.net that may get you a newer version but it may affect other aspects of the system

this is a pain, because evolution 3.10.x has a broken google-contacts OAuth....
