Evolution error report ""Failed to append to mbox:///home ....etc"

Evolution sends mail ok but gives an error report:
 "Failed to append to mbox:///home/nnn/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent: Invalid folder URI 'mbox:///home/nnn/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent'

What does this mean and what should I do about it please?

Try this open Evolution

From the menu select

Edit>Preferences>MailAccounts

Next select your mail account and select 'Edit' on the 'Defaults' tab check that the following is set

Drafts Folder: "On This Computer/Drafts"
Sent Folder: "On This Computer/Sent"
