Evolution 3.2.3 lost all e-mails

I use Ubuntu 12.04 and evolution 3.2.3 . If I start to day evolution all my emails lost. No more files to see. What can I do. Thanks for help.

Try running the app from terminal. It may give clues

I have "ME TO" problem. My Evolution 3.2.3 email has all disappeared. Running Evolution from the terminal didn't help me (I do email not terminal) and the "Problem solved, See german text" above didn't help either. I'm a Brit with a 1960's education that didn't include German and may also explain why the terminal output no longer does it for me.

So guys, all my email has disappeared and my life is effectively over until I get it back. I'm looking for a solution suited to the "over 60's" to get it all going again, and in English please.

I cannot be the only one with this problem.

And another thing, been getting routine "Evolution has Barfed" reports for a while now. Should I have moved to Thunderbird earlier?

My Inbox and all folders disappeared. I can send mail- apparently receive it but don't know where it is going. contacts are there.
I have Thunderbird as back up but had ema saves I want
