Changing text colour causes hang

When composing an email, selecting the text and then using the palet to change the text color causes evolution to hang.. was fine in release 10. I am using 12.04

Yes, I tried to report a bug... but the option to report a bug did not work..

How to you report a bug about a system that does not allow you to report a big ??
