while sending mails from evolution im getting errorMAIL FROM command failed: Must issue a STARTTLS command first. j3sm4347944pbe.17..how to rectify it please help me

on clicking send/receive button on evolution im able to receive the mail,but whie sendng them i getting an error MAIL FROM command failed: Must issue a STARTTLS command first. j3sm4347944pbe.17...please get me out of this

I m getting the same error but with Denied Relaying instead of "Must issue a STARTTLS command first"

This means that you must enable encryption (SSL or TLS) in Evolution. The server is saying that it requires encryption to be enabled.

Ze Belchior: That is a different error. In that case you are probably connecting to the wrong mail server or else you need to provide a username and password. Either way you should contact the administrators of the mail server (your ISP?) to find out the answer.
