Contacts not displayed

When I want to write a new e-mail and press the "to" or "cc" button to select my contacts,
All my contacts are not displayed in the window "select contact" even when I select the right address book.
When I go in the contacts and select the right adrress book, I see well all my contacts.

Seems to be a bug...

But I am surprised to have the version 1.6 of the "evolution-data-server" (evolution-data-server-1.6) and not the 1.8 (evolution-data-server-1.8).
I forced a refresch using synaptic but the same version was uploaded.
Is this problem solved with the version 1.8?

Try

sudo dpkg -P evolution-data-server

then re-install with

sudo apt-get install evolution-data-server

this will download the latest version.

Hi there I'm a new convert to Linux, vista was the last nail....
Tried to upgrade to latest version of evolution from terminal but had no luck.
Figure i might just wait and see if this bug is fixed in the new Ubuntu 8.1.
Do you know if the new version of evolution has fixed this bug?
Will it be in the ver 8.1 release? From what i have read the answers should all be yes....
