No Evolution 2.30 in Ubuntu 10.04?

I'm wondering why Evolution 2.30 is not included in Ubuntu 10.04?

After speaking with a few people my understanding is that there are too many changes in the new version for it to be tested properly prior to the release in 10.04. Maybe it will make it into 10.10...

Thanks for the quick answer. It's a pity that the new version will not be included, but otherwise a nearly complete rewrite of Evolution is not very optimal for a LTS-version.
