In Evince, open the PDF, right click the page you wish to save, select "Save image as", and choose where to save, and name for the output file. You're done.

As an alternative, install the package "poppler-utils". Once that is done, you can use the following commands on a terminal:

 * pdfimages : extracts all images from a PDF file
 * pdfppm: convert whole pages from a PDF file to an image

I think an easier way is just to right-click the pdf in nautilus, click "open with Gimp", select the page in which the picture you want is and crop the image.

Can you help with this problem?
