can one sms using empathy

could not sms using emapthy. what and how can we do it. please give a demosnstration using sip addresses.

Empathy does not natively support SMS. Empathy supports Google Talk (Jabber/XMPP), MSN, IRC, Salut, AIM, Facebook, Yahoo!, Gadu Gadu, Groupwise, ICQ and QQ.

It is possible after installing the Gnome Phone Manager:

Furthermore, I'm not sure it's related to the Phone Manager or not, but there is this:
