Add a dictionary to Empathy?

I am using Empathy on Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty). Under Preferences I find that only an English spell checker is active. Is it possible to add other languages? If so, which languages are available and how do I add a language?

You can add many languages language support. Then select it in Empathy preferences/spell checking.

For open language support, if you are using unity press the Windows key for open the dash and search for language support.

Or if you are using the gnome-panel interface, go to system/administration/language support.

Thank you for your answer.
It turned out that I could not find the solution myself as I was looking for Japanese spell checking. A dictionary for Japanese apparently does not exist. So it did not show up in Empathy. When I tried another language it did indeed show up in Empathy. Enabling this made it even possible to use multiple languages in one message; that is a neat feature.
