Native Eclipse IDE is necessary, Is it possible?

Asked by Mohammad A. Elabd

I knew that native binaries and executables can be produced using the GCJ on Linux generally and Ubuntu, and the current performance for me using Eclipse is truly a headache and kills (in some projects) my Ubuntu machine and I want to have it compiled natively then packaged cleanly as .deb and I can help in something like that but I need help from the Eclipse on Ubuntu team

So
Native Eclipse IDE is necessary, Is it possible?

yes, just run:

sudo apt-get install eclipse

It will be a native Linux app.

Can you help with this problem?
