The eagle version supplied by the ubuntu package has graphical errors on my system.
The new version 5.2 does not have them.
The new version can be aquired at:
http://www.cadsoft.de/download.htm
Is it possible to update this version the repositories?

Hello

Now as intrepid is in beta testing stage.. Its not possible to include new upstream versions of software in the repos right now and you have to wait until the next development cycle which starts in few days
