dvdauthor package

mplayer required for dvdauthor?

Using dvd-author (admittedly for the first time), and I am getting errors that mplayer is not found. Is this a required package for dvd-author? It was not listed as a dependency and so it may be a packaging bug.

After installing mplayer (just now), I stopped receiving the error.

If you think that, open the synaptic, search for the package and choose properties right clicking on it. Once there, find the package maintainer e-mail and e-mail him telling it.
