Dovecot 1.1 release in Intrepid?

Asked by Jim Kleckner

Dovecot 1.1 goes final today (Friday 19-June).

Along with lots of bug fixes, it adds a built-in Squat implementation for extremely fast server-side full text searching (FTS).
 See http://wiki.dovecot.org/Plugins/FTS for some benchmarks.

This is *very* useful.

Is there any hope to get this into Intrepid? What is the process?
