feature request: auto modules / drivers reinstall when kernel upgrade to new version the natural ubuntu way
Hi all
When a new kernel version is updated by synaptic (or else)
and I also install 3 party drivers or modules such as graphic drivers
(but may be it is not only graphic drivers)
i need to reinstall the drivers.
New users used to mark all pkgs to upgrade including new kernel versions and find somehow the system without hardware support when the auto kernel upgrading.
i wanted to ask a feature which is check if there is new kernel installation or upgrading and do reinstall to the kernel modules or drivers which is been install that natural Ubuntu way which i belieave it is something that can be checked.
thnx alot
