How do I upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10 using the alternative CD?

I am truing to upgrade from ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 using the alternative cd, but I could find no documerntation no how to do this. Any help would be graat!

Start your pc in Ubuntu 8.04 then insert the Ubuntu 8.10 into cd reader Ubuntu will ask to you if you want perform the upgrades please read at the end of this page: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/upgrading
