I can't install ubuntu 10.4(alternate)
Hi, i really like to install ubuntu system but i just can't make it work.
First, i tried installing the ubuntu 10.10 desktop version but it keeps loading forever. it took me a day and nothing happened.
Now i'm using the ubuntu 10.4 alternate CD version because my computer can't load too much graphics. i guess.
This is the specs of my computer.
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40Ghz
2.39Ghz, 224MB RAM
[Microsoft XP professional SP2]
i also have a problem with partitioning it isn't working...
I want to have windows Xp and ubuntu system on my computer.
but here's the first problem...
1.) I get this error message when it's on the stage of "Checking Cd integrity"
here is the error message >>> pool/main/
Take Note : I've burned it on a CD-RW, and burned it on a very slow speed 4x.
I hope someone can help me with this one.
I just can't make it work.
Thanks in advance.
