Printer the second

Yesterdays answers where not helping. I have a Canon Pixma Ip3500.
Printing word stuff is no problem, but graphics and photo's get distorted. I have to use the MS dual boot to print those. How can I reconfigure the printer so I don't have to go to MS all the time. Yesterdays suggestions where to re-design my letterhead and all the spiel so I can print them over OOo. But I realized that all graphics are distorted. Helpppp. Pppplease. Thanks

Personally i would *not* buy a Canon. But that will not solve your problem ofcours.. Sorry. Maybe this will:

I will change the package to cupps (at least i try) because i think this is not a ooo problem...
(to test try to export to pdf, and then print the pdf... is the pdf oke, but printing the pdf gives problems? then it is not an OOo issue)
