Canon LBP3200 and Ubuntu 9.04

Asked by jpoma

My LBP3200 was printing in Ubuntu 8.10; but when I upgrade my System to 9.10 it does not print.
I done reinstallation with every drivers I found (1.60 and 1.80 versions for LBP3200) following instructions given in docs and advices from internet; but It did not fixed printing problem.

Test results are:

jpoma@jpoma-desktop:~$ sudo ccpdadmin
[sudo] password for jpoma:

Usage:
  ccpdadmin [-p Printer-name -o Printer-dev-path]
  ccpdadmin [-x Remove-Printer-name]

 CUPS_ConfigPath = /etc/cups/
 LOG Path = None
 UI Port = 59787

Entry Num : Spooler : Backend : FIFO path : Device Path : Status
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
     [0] : LBP3200 : ccp : /var/ccpd/fifo0 : /dev/usb/lp0 :

jpoma@jpoma-desktop:~$ captstatusui -P LBP3200

This test shows a dialog. It is supposed to show "ready ..." message; but no messages are show, no errors too.

All printing work are sent to queue but none of them was finished

Thanks for help

Please do a full update of your system.
Is this still a problem with cups 1.3.9-17ubuntu3.2 published in jaunty-updates on 2009-06-29 ?

Can you help with this problem?
