i cant scan but i can print and fax my printer model is bother MFC-8860DN, how can i use scanner

Changing to question, in the body of this reported bug, the reporter has said that printing is successful, but he would like to be able to scan and asks how.

I don't have a brother printer/scanner, but I have found a pretty good how to for you try. http://wiki.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=590793. Can you please see if you can follow the scanning part of the first poster and report back here whether or not you were successful?
