Package sceneries from Joel Lienard

Asked by Peter

Hello crrcsim maintenance team,

Joel Lienard has created additional sceneries for crrcsim (http://joel.lienard.free.fr/crrcsim/index.html). These sceneries are absolutely spectacular. They lift crrcsim to a completely new level.

Arch Linux has already packaged them for their distribution (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/crrcsim-sceneries/).

It would be really awesome if the Debian crrcsim-data package would include those sceneries too.

I suggest you report a bug with your URL as a suggested fix

Ubuntu is copying packages from Debian (to avoid double packaging work).
I suggest that you also create a related bug report in the Debian bug tracker.

Remark: I have not seen any information about copyright and licensing of the files on http://joel.lienard.free.fr/crrcsim/
An adequate free software license is a prerequisite for publishing software on Ubuntu (and Debian).

Thank you for your answers. I will create a bug with Debian and Ubuntu after having contacted Mr. Lienard and having asked for permission.
