Clamtk only shows 0 virus signatures after installation and update.

Asked by Bruce Morgenstern

Installed ClamAV on Linux Debian Lenny using Clamtk frontend GUI.

Edited etc/clamav/freshclam.conf configuration file and reloaded it ( /etc/init.d/clamav-freshclam reload ).

Successfully ran freshclam as root (super user) with no errors noted.

Launched Clamtk as root, clicked on the green icon (round dot) to update virus signatures and it said my signatures were up-to-date.

However, virus signature info displays 0 signatures.

What do I need to do to have the Clamtk GUI display the number of current virus signatures?

Please advise.

Thank you for your help.

What version of ClamTk are you using?

Can you help with this problem?
