Chromium crashes with core dumped

Asked by mehul

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 on my system. I had removed and added some GNOME files earlier and since then Chromium has not been working, it crashes with core dumped. Here's the strace logs http://paste.ubuntu.com/1022731/

If you run:

ps -ef | grep chromium | grep -v grep

If you get zero output try renaming ~/.config/chromium then rerun the browser...

Tried that. Also tried creating a new user account and running chromium in that. It still core dumps in both the cases.
