space key scrolls page down

Hi im using ubuntu 11.04. when using chromium web browser, if im typing in a flash game and hit the space bar it scrolls me to the bottom of the page. this only appears to happen when i am playing games as i am not scrolled down to the bottom of this page while typing this. Is there a way to remove this setting. Thanks in advance

this looks like it is a known issue and bug reports have been filed

i would recommend staring that issue from the first provided link and comment the bug report explaining your experienced issues. In the mean time the only resolution i can provide is to use another browser of your choice.

firefox would be my recommendation
