Genius facecam 310 installation

Hi all,

I got a USB Genius facecam 310 webcam and I wanted to install it on Ubuntu 11.10
When I bought it, it said that supports Linux however the driver was not included. Even tough I have been surfing the net I was unable to find a tutorial on how to install this camera under Linux.

If someone can help me on this will be great.

Dear actionparsnip,

Thanks for responding. I can consider this issue solved now since as soon as I opened the applications that use the webcam, Skype, aMSN etc the system automatically recognized the webcam and used it without any problems.

Reading additional material from the manufacturer Genius I found that no installation is required for this camera in Linux since the system recognizes automatically once the application is launched.
