No me permite actualizar el programa. Antes, sí, podía, pero desde hace un tiempo no me lo permite.

Mi sistema operativo es windows 10.
La versión de CALIBRE que tengo instalada es la 5.44
La última versión que anuncian es la 6.13.0
El mensaje que me sale en el intento de actualización es: "El paquete de instalación no es compatible con este tipo de procesador. Pónganse en contacto con el fabricante del producto"

El procesador que está instalado en mi equipo desde hace varios años es: INTEL(R) CORE (TM) i5-3470 CPU@3.20GHz.

Antes no tenía problemas para actualizar. Ahora , sí.
Y es una pena, porque hice un pequeño donativo ya que valoro el excelente servicio que prestan.

The answer to your question is in Bug #1989720

In fact the message that you receive is misleading. The limiting factor is not the processor, but the version of Windows. Apparently you have the 32bit version of Windows installed and that is not supported any more with the newest version of calibre.

In future you will see such message more often. Several software providers have stopped support for 32bit systems.

You should consider installing the 64bit version of Windows. Your processor is able to run 64bit operating systems and programs.
