connecting kobo glo to calibre

i bought a kobo glo. If i connect it to my computer i can see the kobo but it does not connect with calibre. Hoe come?
newest firmware kobo and latest version calibre.

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy calibre

Thanks for your reaction but i donot understand the question.
My wife has a kobo aura hd and when she connects to the computer everything works fine. But when i connect the kobo glo calibre doesnot react on it. Why is this?

Paste the command in to the terminal and hit ENTER

nevermind I got it working in a different usb port.
