calibre interface language

HI,

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 and just installed Calibre whixhia appear to be the 0.8.8 version. inforunatly it displays germain for the main interface whereas i need it in french. I changed the language in Einstellungen / Erscheinungsbild but with no result, even after total restart of the system.

can you help me ?

what happens if you open a terminal (Ctrl+alt+t, or from program launcher), and then run

export LANG=fr && calibre

?

After this Calibre Opened but crashed pretty soon when I cancelled the choice of a folder.
But after e restart it worked perfectly, thanks a lot !
