brasero not writing CDs properly

I have removed/reinstalled Brasero, it is still not writing everything. I tried using Gnomebaker, still would not copy all tracks. I moved a few songs to a separate folder, tried burning those, no luck. I changed mp3 to wav, nothing...all i get is the burner keeps telling me it is writing to an image file. Is there a (more) reliable program for burning music? Thanks in advance.
