Bluetooth pairing with HP Pavilion DM1z

Running 11.10 64bit, everything is working fine except I can't get a new bluetooth mouse to pair, I can start the detection process but it's never detected. Kind of a newbie to inux so prepare to speak slowly when it come to command line info.

Have you tried pairing your notebook to other bluetooth devices? If you are able, you might want to try resetting your mouse to make it work.
