Bluetooth dongle not found on 11.04

When starting Bluetooth from SYSTEM > Preferences > Bluetooth get error message "NO BLUETOOTH ADAPTORS PRESENT".

It is a USB device and works on Windows XP.

Any ideas???

I will not manage this question, but the guy who will, will need USB id. Could you post result of command:
   sudo lsusb
and indicates which in display, is ID of Bluetooth dongle.

It doesn't see the device although it is plugged in to the usb port

Was able to enable bluetooth by using:

sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart

that resolved another user problem.

Was able to connect to bluetooth device and transfer a file to computer.

Closing this problem.
