Unable to detect bluetooth embeded HP 6910p on Ubuntu 10.4
Hello Everyone:
I just install ubuntu 10.4 on my HP 6910p. The system does not detect my Bluetooth Adapter (Is Embedded with the WiFi Adapter) The WiFi is detected but the Bluetooh is not. When I go to System -> Preference -> Bluetooth ( I received the following message: "Your system does not have any bluetooth adapter plugged in.
I'm not a linux user, This is my 2nd time that I installed ubuntu. (The 1st time was ubuntu version 6.xx, and I remember that I uses a control panel to add or manage hardware device, on this version I don't see it) probably could be a option that I must activate or user account privilege. Well I don't know, could you help me on this?
I just want to active my bluetooth adapter and connect my bluetooth mouse (BTW it is a MS Notebook Mouse 5000) . (I know that bluetooth adapter works because if I change the old hard drive that has Windows Vista it works, so we can discharge hardware failures).
Let me know if you need any LOGs, and tell me how to capture it. (Sorry about it, but I new on this) BTW, I remember that if I use terminal option (CLI) and run a command like ioscan this could show me the system hardware. (what is the command to uses on Ubuntu?)

Jose Gonzalez
