dash not open power off not work

dash button does not work when you press it-- Ubuntu 13.10 is fully freezes
also when click poweroff.Unity and launcher and icons work well. My actions: 1. reset Unity 2. replacement kernel 3.10.0.6; 3.11.0.2; and now 3.11.0.rc7
3. uninstall Dash and then install using Synaptic 4. install unity8 5. in terminal: a) rm -rf .compiz-1 b) setsid unity. But nothing helped more than two weeks. Anyone help me??

I suggest you report a bug.

Saucy is not ready, not stable and not for casual users.

If you need an OS that works then I suggest you reinstall with Precise. It is stable and mature and LTS so supported til April 2017 which is far longer than Saucy.

unity Dash is not working in ubuntu 14.04. Once I try to launch unity dash, only screen remains and rest icons disappear and no response to any key or mouse except right click of mouse operates. I cant operate any thing and I have to power off to restart
