Update to 21 in Maverick to enable Uno support?

Asked by Matthew Minuti

I was curious if there's any timeframe for including Arduino 21 in Maverick. I see it's in Natty, but being able to communicate with an Arduino Uno board on Maverick would be nice.

support for maverick ends when natty is released, so if you want uno, you should update to natty. i doubt they are adding new features to maverick now.

Considering Natty isn't even in its first alpha yet, I think the suggestion to update is a bit premature. Maverick is the current version, so I'd imagine that updating from to 0021+dfsg-2 from the 0018+dfsg-4 that's in there now wouldn't be impossible, especially if done via maverick-backports.

Would this be the place to request inclusion into backports or testing, or is there somewhere else that should be done?

Maverick is EOL in April 2012 not April 2011 when Natty arrives.
