aptitude dbg-dep command

Asked by pschonmann

Hi !
I would know is it possible and usefuul of course to add aptitude dbg-dep command. Sounds like build-dep but usefull for debuggers.

Idea is : I want to debug empathy package for example. These uses lots of packages, these packages has dbg packages. Some of these packages has dependencies on another packeges that has dbg too and they are useffull to debug. Its dependency hell to know which packages are right.

Should be fine to see it but its only my idea that would help to some people in their natty debbuging.
Have a nice day.

Users who test (Natty) may notice this page.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures
e.g. Empathy
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingEmpathy

The only dependency I see there is Empathy.

Yeap, directly its only one dbg package. But empathy uses lots of packages and they have dbg too. Include it with dbg-deps

Can you help with this problem?
