Hi ,
it seems those repositories are not valid for you Ubuntu distribution. Try to delete them and try again to update.

from terminal

=================================
gksudo software-properties-gtk
=================================

go to "Other Software" and delete specific repositories you can see them in errors of update.

Close and run again

===================================
sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get upgrade
===================================

Thanks

Concerning :

http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/pool/main/g/google-chrome-stable/google-chrome-stable_21.0.1180.75-r150248_i386.deb

This is an obsolete link. You should probably remove all references to google.com in /etc/apt/sources.list and in /etc/apt/sources.list.d

Concerning:

Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/firefox-aurora/ubuntu/pool/main/f/firefox/firefox_16.0~a2~hg20120808r102323-0ubuntu1~umd1~precise_i386.deb 404 Not Found

This is because your package list is obsolete and has not been updated since somewhere during or right before August 8.

You need to run the following command to refresh the list of available Ubuntu packages:

sudo apt-get update

You should always run this command BEFORE trying to upgrade.

Can you help with this problem?
