Asked by Zack Williams

When you type a command in the terminal window, and something starts to install, where can you find it later ?

If you use Sudo apt-get install packagename and you are using Ubuntu 11.10 you can search for your new application or tool in the Unity Dash.

Yes you can undo installing a package, apt-get remove and apt-get purge does just that.
