Show current open bug reports for a package

Is it somehow possible to see open bug reports for a package before submitting a new one using apport-bug and w/o going to launchpad via browser?

Well... question was w/o using launchpad. E.g. Debian's report bug is having such a feature which is really useful for servers and other machines you only have access via SSH to.

Does the ubuntu-bug command have an option to do this, try reading the man page
